How do you say Halloween? Does the "hallow" part of the word rhyme with "shallow" or with "hollow". This is an important issue in the Bennett household. (And I don't care what the dictionary says. What do you say?)
Well I'm a southerner... The way I say it rhymes with "shallow". Both sound correct to me, however. My wife is from Seattle and I think she says it the same as me.
hollow...as in empty...just like my bucket is going to be come 31 Oct.
I just realized that some people probably say shallow and hollow the same way? :)
